Fun with blankets

LIndsey loves to be pulled across the floor on a blanket...and it looks like Mackenzie does to. They were having so much fun together. Lindsey was in the "back seat". I'm bummed that a few of these pics are super blurry 'cause it looks like they would have been awesome pics if I had had the right setting.

Sunshine!

Wow - it has been rainy and dreary all week, but not today! The sun is out and it's going to be about 60 -yeah - maybe the girls and I will make it to the park!!!
Jeff left for Michigan on Sunday.
My mom came on Tuesday and stayed through Thursday morning - thank goodness!!! She helps me out so much. She also baked cookies and brought me a few scrapbook layouts. I've only completed 2 pages for Mackenzie's book...I need to get on that!!! The pre-made layouts will help me a bunch.
Lindsey has been quite the ornery kaput this week. Contrary and mean to sissy are the biggest issues we've had this week. Last night, though, we had a nice, quiet evening. Today, Lindsey got to go to Elite Gym for a 3-hour camp. She didn't even say goodbye to me...just started running and playing...that's her favorite place. I'm going to pick her up in a few minutes and I hope she had fun and was a good girl.

Papa & the Pumpkin Patch

My dad came to town today and we went to the Pumpkin Patch! I'm glad my dad had his trailer 'cause we got hay and pumpkins that would not fit in the Jeep. It was a bit breezy, but the girls enjoyed themselves and time with papa.

BIG Step!

I am so excited about Lindsey's costume. I found a bumblebee in her size today and she LOVES it! She wasn't crazy about the butterfly costume and it was a bit tight. Now, Lindsey and Mackenzie have matching costumes!!!
Mackenzie will be the baby bumblebee, and Lindsey will be the Queen Bee!

What a week....

Mackenzie started taking steps and started saying "uh oh." She'll kind of repeat it when we say it or when she drops something. So sweet. She's 10 months today!
Lindsey went to preschool on Tuesday, but that night, she got sick - she threw up 5 times total in 5 hours. The next day all she wanted to do was lay on the couch and watch tv. Thursday I kept her home from preschool so she could get her energy back and she was back to normal by Thursday night. I hated that she was sick. However, for those couple days, she wanted to cuddle and snuggle a lot....so....I liked THAT part. :) We watched lots of movies on the couch and she let me hold her a bunch.
Today Lindsey went to Elite Gym - her favorite place in the world!!! She missed last month for being super naughty at the doctor...i mean, tantrum!!!! So, she had a great time and jumped on every trampoline there. Uh oh... I hear a bedroom door opening....I guess naptime is over.
It's cold and dreary outside, but we've got the fire going and food cooking in the crock pot. Yum!

Here comes Mackenzie after the camera!!!

Teething

Ok, so Mackenzie had been acting super crabby and pulling at her ears for about a day. all I could think was that she had another ear infection. So, I tried to get an appt to see the doc, but they didn't have an appt until Friday, so I took her to urgent care thursday...because i felt the issue was urgent given her demeanor. About an hour before we went to urgent care, i gave her some tylenol. i was so nervous driving to UC 'cause she was still screaming in the car, but when we got there, all she did was flirt and smile. :) Seriously!!! Mackenzie had done a complete 180 and was babbling and playing peek-a-boo with everyone in the waiting room - guess that little dose of tylenol helped. When we saw the doc, he said her ears looked PERFECT!!! There is NO ear infection. She must just be TEETHING!!! So, my advice, try tylenol first!!!! Oh well, it put my mind at ease to know that she wasn't sick. I took lots of pictures with my phone camera 'cause she was so stinkin' cute and happy while we were waiting! We still need to get a cord for my phone so i can download pictures...
