Happy Birthday Mackenzie!!!

Birthday Girl!!!

happy girl

Kenzie likes playing with these bunny ears.

The bubble machine was a hit.

Today is Miss Mackenzie's Birthday! I can't believe it!
Mackenzie started off the day with an appointment at an ENT. We decided to get tubes inserted in her ears, which will take place in a couple weeks. She has had 5 ear infections since birth and the doctor today said there was a little bit of fluid still in one ear!!! She must have been tuckered out from the morning 'cause she took a 3 hour nap!!! We went to JCPenney to get pictures taken. There's a pretty good family pic, but the singles of Mackenzie were just ok. I'll probably try to take her somewhere else so she gets a super cute pic instead of just ok. The girls were having fun at the photo shoot though - chasing each other, digging in the props, etc. :)

I love you scooter bug!

This wraps it up for the year. I wanted to start recording memories on the day Mackenzie was born and end this year's blog on Mackenzie's birthday. Now, I've got to get this blog in book format to give to the grandmas. Nana Crowder and Nana Fulton - I hope you enjoy reading this journal all about your little girls and all the ups and downs and all arounds that come with raising children. Lindsey and Mackenzie are the biggest joys in our life and we are so thankful that you are a big part of their lives. Merry Christmas!!! Love, Amy, Jeff, Lindsey and Mackenzie

Merry Christmoose

We took the girls to the Bass Pro Shop the other night to see Santa. The picture with Santa didn't turn out so great - Mackenzie started crying and Lindsey was just staring at him.....so, the picture of Lindsey was snapped right outside the store and the one of Mackenzie was snapped right before we left. Santa cuties!!!

The girls got moose slippers from the Bass Pro Shop and were having fun walking around and slippin' and slidin'. Mackenzie is bent over examining what in the world are on her feet. :)

Putting Up The Tree

Lindsey is giving the tree a hug.

My 3 favorite people in the whole world.

Santa babies

Christmas Pageant

Lindsey had a Christmas Pageant at church last weekend. It was cute, but I think it was a little long for the toddlers!!! It lasted about half an hour and the toddlers only sang 2 songs during that time, so Lindsey got pretty antsy pantsy. :)

Jingle Bells

Angels
This cracks me up 'cause Lindsey was not acting her part. :) She didn't want to wear the halo and by the end of the program she had taken out her pony tail.

Lindsey & Kyra

3 little angels with sarah. she is the girls' babysitter and we love her!!! the girls love her and she loves them. love all around!!!

Birthday Party

I was wanting to get a messy shot of Mackenzie eating her cake - she's normally super messy with her food, but she barely got a crumb or any frosting on her face - it all went in her mouth!!!

Mackenzie and Jeff had a combo birthday party on Dec 5, Jeff's actual birthday - the big 33!
Jeff's parents, sister, and nephew plus my parents came over to help us all celebrate. The girls love being with their family!!!! I wish we were even closer than 2 hours...hopefully someday.
There was a butterfly cake for Mackenzie 'cause that goes along with the theme in her room. And a sweet potato pie for Jeff 'cause that's his favorite. After chowing down and opening presents, everybody played Beatles Rock Band. :) That was Jeff's birthday present. Mackenzie got lots of toys and a couple cute outfits and a neat sock monkey from Aunt Crystal and Eliegh. It was a fun day, and Mackenzie was eating up all the attention and cake. :) She was the happiest little girl.

Playin'

The girls are playing with jelly stick-ons. The regular window stickers work better for my
kids 'cause Lindsey tears apart the jelly stickers within minutes!!!

I just realized both of the girls have one leg up - cutie pies!!!

The girls love running and chasing/being chased.

Thanksgiving

Silly sisters in their new jammies. I wanted to start a tradition of giving the girls Christmas pjs on Thanksgiving - kind of like the kick-off to the holiday season.

We spent Thanksgiving with Nana and Papa Fulton. Nana came over on Tuesday to help out because I got LASIK that day. But before surgery, JEff and I went to Lindsey's Thanksgiving program at her preschool. It was so cute!!! The kids sang a couple songs with hand gestures (which Lindsey loves to do -the hokey pokey, i'm a little teapot, etc...!!!) and then we had a turkey dinner at the school. I wish I had brought the regular camera, but the grandparents got to see the video.
We had a nice dinner with my parents - turkey was juicy, nana's cranberry salad was awesome, and the pumpkin pie was a hit with everyone - even the girls liked it!

February

Lindsey's 2nd birthday

Nana Crowder

Lindsey loved Elmo everything last year - still does, but she's getting into the princess stuff!

Lindsey and Eliegh always having a good time

Lindsey got lots of paint and glitter glue for her birthday.

Here's Lindsey having birthday cookies with her playgroup.

Nana & Papa Fulton came over for Valentine's Day. Jeff and I got to get away to the Cheesecake Factory for a couple hours. :)

Yeah for window stickers!!!

Mackenzie at 2 months - already a smiley girl.
